The Cars I got were good and whenever I had a problem they delivered exchange for it!Trustworthy and honest company from what I experienced. I would use their service again.Ps: It did take some time to transfer my caution back to me, but they promised to do so and they did it.

I used Joan Car hire on two occasions and with 5 years apart the first being in 2015 for 7 days on a hatchback (small car) and in 2021 for 4 days for off road bakkie (4x4). On both occasions I received the best service, negotiated the best price and even when the 4x4 I was supposed to get was no longer available they called me in advance to re-arrange a new car and also ask if I would be happy with the available choices or I would need another. I took longer trips (more than 900km one way) on both occasions, and it was worth it, the cars are mechanically good and no issues whatsoever and so I highly recommend them for any trips you may want to do in Namibia.

This company saved my trip. I booked a vehicle from one big company in Namibia. To pick up the car, they presented to me a car that was not a 4x4. Luckily, someone gave me the contact of Joan car rental.I got a good 4x4 from this company to use for my trip.I recommend any one to hire a car from Joan car rental.Don't focus on those big name car rental, do your homework.
